A Village Market Paragraph

A village market is an important gathering place for village people. Here people from all walks of life and different professions buy and sell various goods like fish, meat, fresh vegetables, oil, milk, fruits, rice, sugar, clothes, etc. It is small in size. Again it can be bigger than the local market. It is a very crowded place. Usually, a village market is held one or two days a week in an open field or on the bank of a river or canal. It lasts for 6 to 7 hours. However, a village market starts after noon and breaks up in the evening. The poor people of the village earn money by selling homegrown products and running a business in this market. However, a village market plays an important role in the economy. Businessmen in a village market sell their own handmade foods and goods. Besides, villagers can buy their daily necessities and meet their relatives easily from a village market. It saves them time and money. After all, a village market is an essential part of rural life. So, it plays an important role in the lives of the villagers.
