Global Warming Paragraph
Global warming is a serious problem in
the present world. Due to this, the world climate has changed drastically
which has caused various problems. The main cause of global warming is the vast
increase in greenhouse gases such as methane, ethane and CFC including carbon
dioxide. The world's population is growing day by day. People are
cutting down trees on a large scale to build houses for this extra population.
Besides, many unscrupulous traders are cutting down trees for money. Not
only this, people are cutting down a lot of trees every day for cooking and burning
bricks. As a result, the number of trees is decreasing day by day. On
the other hand, people are increasing very fast. As people are increasing,
they are emitting more carbon dioxide. But there are no sufficient plants to
absorb this carbon dioxide. As a result, carbon dioxide gas is increasing
day by day. In addition, the burning of fossil fuels is increasing carbon
dioxide gas. The world temperature is increasing day by day due to the increase
in carbon dioxide gas which is causing global warming. The other significant
causes of global warming are methane, ethane and CFC gases emitted from mills
and factories. New mills and factories are being built every year. And, the
greenhouse gases including methane, ethane and CFC are constantly being emitted
from these mills and factories which are largely responsible for global
warming. The consequences of global warming are serious. Due to global
warming, natural disasters like floods, droughts and famines visit the world
especially Bangladesh every year. Besides, the polar ice caps have begun to
melt. Many animals have become extinct from the earth and many of them are on
the verge of extinction. So, we should take immediate steps to prevent
global warming. And, for this, we have to stop cutting down trees first
and plant more trees every year. Only trees can keep the whole world away
from global warming.
