Rickshaw Puller Paragraph
A rickshaw puller is a familiar figure
in big cities and towns. He is a poor man and leads a miserable life by
pulling a rickshaw. He lives in a slum. He is always found near offices,
markets, schools, colleges, universities, bus stands, railway stations and
important roads. Most rickshaw pullers don't have their own rickshaws. A
rickshaw puller hires a rickshaw from a rickshaw owner in the morning or
afternoon and goes down the road looking for passengers. All day, he
travels from one corner to the other in a rickshaw for money. Sometimes, he
drives a rickshaw till late at night. The income of a rickshaw puller is very
low. He earns 300-500 taka a day. When his income decreases, it
becomes difficult for him to support the family. Actually, a rickshaw
puller lives from hand to mouth. He has to drive the rickshaw in good and
bad weather because if he doesn't drive the rickshaw, he has to
starve. His day and night hard work and struggle is only for his family.
Though he works hard all his life, he can't change his fate. Sometimes, he
becomes tired and falls asleep on the rickshaw. He has his lunch at a cheap
hotel in a town or city. Usually, a rickshaw puller behaves well with the
passengers but sometimes, he quarrels with them over the fare. However,
the life of a rickshaw puller is a life of struggle. So, we should always
behave well with a rickshaw puller and try to help him in danger.
