যথা:
1.Transitive verb.
2. Intransitive verb.
Transitive verb কাকে বলে?
যে Verb এর পরে Object বসে অথবা যে Verb এর পরে Preposition বসে না তাকে Transitive verb বলে।
যেমনঃ
1. She sings a song.
এখানে sings transitive verb.
2. The man drives a car.
এখানে drives transitive verb.
Intransitive verb কাকে বলে?
যে Verb এর পরে Object বসে না অথবা যে Verb এর পরে Preposition বসে তাকে তাকে Intransitive verb বলে।
যেমনঃ
1. He goes.
এখানে goes intransitive verb.
2. He goes to college.
এখানে goes intransitive verb.
Transitive and Intransitive Verb এর মধ্যে পার্থক্য
1. Transitive verb এর পরে Object বসে কিন্তু Intransitive Verb এর পরে Object বসে না।
2. Transitive verb এর পরে Preposition বসে না কিন্তু Intransitive Verb এর পরে Preposition বসে।
3. Transitive verb এর পরে Preposition ছাড়া Noun/Pronoun বসে কিন্তু Intransitive Verb এর পরে Preposition+ Noun/Pronoun বসে।
