form of verb ইংরেজি গ্রামারের একটি অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ টপিক। ষষ্ঠ
শ্রেণি থেকে শুরু করে এসএসসি ও এইচএসসি সহ বিভিন্ন প্রতিযোগিতামূলক চাকরির
পরীক্ষায় সিয়োর Right
form of verbs থাকে। প্রকৃতপক্ষে, Right form of verb আদৌ কঠিন না। তবে এর নিয়ম অনেক গুলো। অনেক নিয়ম হওয়ার কারণে
বেশিরভাগ ছাত্রছাত্রীরা Right form of verbs এ ভাল
করতে পারে না। আসলে তারা Right form of verb rules নিয়মিত প্রাকটিস করে না যার
কারণে পরীক্ষার সময় তারা ভুল উত্তর লেখে। মূলত, Right form of verb সঠিকভাবে উত্তর
করতে নিয়মিত অনুশীলনী প্রাকটিসের বিকল্প নেই। তাই আজ আমি সমস্ত দুর্বল
ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের জন্য Right

আর্টিকেলটিতে খুব সুন্দরভাবে তুলে ধরেছি। Right form of verbs এ ৭ এর মধ্যে ৭ পেতে আর্টিকেলে উল্লেখিত Shortcut rules খুব ভালোভাবে অনুসরণ করতে হবে এবং নিয়মিত এই ২৫টি Shortcut rules প্র্যাকটিস করতে হবে। তাহলে নিশ্চিত যেকোন পরীক্ষায় Right form of verb এ ফুল মার্কস পাওয়া যাবে, ইনশাল্লাহ। তাহলে চলো এখন Right form of verb shortcut
rules জেনে নেওয়া যাক।

প্রথমে
Right
form of verb rules 1-5 পর্যন্ত direct মূখুস্হ করতে হবে। এরপর নিচের Shortcut rules আয়ত্ত করতে
পারলেই Right
form of verb এ ভাল নাম্বার ক্যারি
করতে পারবে, ইনশাআল্লাহ।
1. a) With a view to/addicted

Ans: verb+ing
Example:
a) Tamanna went

b) Sumaiya was used to…….(swim) in
the river.

a) Verb+ing (কে বা কারা দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করে subject পাওয়া গেলে)
b) V3 (কি বা কাকে দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করে subject পাওয়া গেলে)
Example:

Ans: studying
b) Suvojit was …. (punish) enough.
Ans: punished
5. Modal auxiliaries……
Ans:
a) V1 (কে বা কারা দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করে subject পাওয়া গেলে)
b) be+V3 (কি বা কাকে দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করে subject পাওয়া গেলে)
Example:
a) Mamun can ……. (help) the weak

Ans:
a) Verb+ing (বাক্যটি দ্বারা উদ্দেশ্য না বোঝালে)
b) to+V1 (বাক্যটি দ্বারা উদ্দেশ্য বোঝালে)

7. While+no

Ans: Verb+ing
Example:

Ans:
a) V2 (Since এর পূর্ব Present Indefinite/ Present
Perfect হলে)
b) had+V3 (Since এর পূর্ব Past Indefinite হলে)

21. Subject+verb+ext+as
if/as though+subject…
Ans:
a) V2/were (As if/as
though এর পূর্ব Present Indefinite হলে)
b) had+V3 (As if/as
though এর পূর্ব Past Indefinite হলে)
Example:
a) Bayazid speaks as if he ….(sing)
a song.
Ans: sang
b) Jihad speaks as though he ….(to be) a poet.
Ans: were
c) Mim spoke as if she ….(sing) a song.

22. Subject+verb+ext+so
that+subject…..
Ans:
a) can/may+V1 (So that এর পূর্ব Present Indefinite হলে)
b) could/might+V1 (So
that এর পূর্ব Past Indefinite হলে)
Example:
a) Mukta works hard so that she
……(prosper) in life.
Ans: can/may prosper
b) Bornali worked hard so that she ……(prosper) in life.
Ans: could//might prosper
23. Who/which/that….
Ans: Who/which/that এর পূর্বের word অনুযায়ী পরবর্তী
verb correction করতে হয়। পূর্বের word টি singular হলে verb টি singular হয়।
আর পূর্বের word টি plural হলে verb টি plural হয়।
Example:
a) I know the man who …..(work) hard.
Ans: works
b) I bought some mobile phones which….. (be)
black.
Ans: were

Before/after+subject…
a) V2 (Before এর পরে subject থাকলে)
b) had+V3 (After এর পরে subject থাকলে)
c) verb+ing
(Before/after এর পরে subject না
থাকলে)
Example:
a) Asha had gone to college before
Joya…..(come).
Ans: came
b) Munna went to college after Asura....(come)
Ans: had come
c) Before/after.....(come)
home, he met me.
Ans: coming
25. ……since/for+time
a) have been/has
been+verb+ing (অতীত বা ভবিষ্যত সময় না
বোঝালে)
b) had been+verb+ing (অতীত সময় বোঝালে)
c) shall have been/will
have been+verb+ing (ভবিষ্যত সময় বোঝালে)
Example:
a) It......(rain)
since morning.
Ans: has
been raining
b) It......(rain) since last morning.
Ans: had
been raining
c) It......(rain) since next morning.
Ans: will
have been raining
