Sound pollution is one of the most discussed topics of the present time. It has reached an unbearable level. There are many causes of sound pollution. The sound of horns of the vehicles is the main cause of sound pollution. Besides, the sound of defective vehicles, construction sites, loudspeakers and thousands of workshops are other causes of sound pollution. The consequences of sound pollution are serious. Millions of people in cities, especially children, are more vulnerable to sound pollution. This sound pollution damages the children's hearing power. Actually, sound pollution is so harmful that it can cause various problems in the human body including heart attack, high blood pressure, chronic depression, respiratory problems etc. However, we should take necessary steps to control sound pollution. And, for this, public awareness should be increased. Besides, the use of hydraulic horns should be strictly prohibited. Above all, strict laws must be enforced to stop sound pollution.
