Everyone has a favorite food. My
absolute favorite food is hilsa. It is the national fish of Bangladesh.
It is such a delicious fish that has held a special place in my heart. It
is undoubtedly a nutritious food. But unfortunately, Hilsa is now beyond the
reach of the common people because its price is now skyrocketing. The unique
taste and smell of hilsa makes it different from other foods. Mustard
mixed hilsa and eggplant cooked hilsa are very favorite not only to me but to
all Bengalis. Every bite of hilsa is an explosion of flavor. It is a food
that is eaten during festivals and family gatherings. The silvery sheen of the
hilsa skin and the distinctive flavor of the fatty belly make hilsa a culinary
treasure. Whether enjoyed with rice or warm bread, hilsa tastes unlike any
other food. Finally, my favorite food hilsa multiplies my taste buds. So, hilsa
is my favorite food.
