Honesty is the best policy story

Once there was a farmer in a village. He was poor but honest. One day while he was going to the land, he saw a purse on the way. He took the purse and opened it. He saw that the purse was full of gold. He returned home with the purse and told his wife what she should do with the gold. His wife advised him to sell the gold. But he did not agree to his wife's proposal. At this, his wife got very angry and left the place. Then the farmer decided to return the purse to its owner. But he did not know the address of the owner. Actually, the farmer was very intelligent. He searched for the owner's address in various places in the purse. At last, he found the address of the owner of the purse. According to the address, he went to the house of the owner of the purse and handed it over to him. The owner of the purse was very surprised to see the purse. He said to himself, "Is there still an honest man in the world?" However, the owner was very pleased with the farmer's honesty and wanted to reward him with some money. But the farmer refused to take the money from the owner. He said to the owner, “He has to return the purse to the owner. Only he has done his duty properly. For this, Allah will reward him in the Hereafter.” Saying this, the farmer left the place and returned home.

Moral of the story: Honesty is the best policy.
