Climate change is a great threat to the
whole human race and nature. It is the most serious problem of the present
century. The main reason for climate change is global warming or the
greenhouse effect. Basically, greenhouse gasses cause global warming or greenhouse
effect. Whenever greenhouse gases increase, global warming increases. And as a
result of the increase in global warming, the climate changes. Therefore, the
main reason for climate change is the increase in greenhouse gases. There are
many reasons for the increase in greenhouse gases. Reckless cutting down of
trees, overpopulation, and burning of fossil fuels are the mentionable reasons
for the increase of greenhouse gasses. Among greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide
is the main culprit. Trees maintain the balance of the environment by producing
oxygen and absorbing carbon dioxide gas. But people are cutting down trees
indiscriminately without realizing the importance of the trees. As a result,
carbon dioxide is increasing day by day and global warming is increasing. And
then the climate is changing drastically. Again, due to overpopulation, carbon
dioxide increases. On the other hand, burning fossil fuels also increases
carbon dioxide which causes climate change by increasing global warming.
Besides, new mills and factories are being founded every year in urban areas.
Methane, ethane, CFCs, etc. are being emitted from these mills and factories
and are increasing global warming. As a result, the climate is also changing
greatly. However, the consequences of climate change are very
alarming. Various types of deadly diseases have increased due to climate
change. Besides, every year various natural calamities including floods,
droughts, and famines visit the world and every food has lost its taste and
flavor due to climate change. If this situation continues, the world will be
destroyed soon. Therefore, urgent steps must be taken to prevent climate
change. Especially we need to plant more trees every year to prevent climate
change. If more trees are planted every year, they will absorb carbon dioxide,
and the climate will change and revert to the way it was before. So, we all
should plant more trees to prevent climate change because only trees can
protect us from dangers like climate change.

Climate change is a great problem in the
present world. It is a change in climate patterns globally. There are many
causes of climate change. The main causes of climate change are the burning of
fossil fuels, deforestation and greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide,
methane, ethane, CFC, etc. For these reasons, the climate is changing very
fast. However, climate change has very bad impacts on human beings and animals.
The mentionable impacts of climate change are rise in temperature, increase of
greenhouse gases including carbon dioxide, irregular rainfall, salinity, rise
of floods, cyclones, tidal bores and droughts, etc. Undoubtedly, these
seriously affect the agriculture and livelihood of developing countries like
Bangladesh. If the situation is going on in this way, one day, the
southern part of Bangladesh will go underwater. So, we should take
necessary steps to reduce climate change. Actually, to reduce the bad impacts
of climate change, people of all walks of life should be conscious. Besides, we
should plant more trees every year in this respect. Finally, to reduce the bad
impacts of climate change, all of us should work together along with the
government. Otherwise, our existence on Earth will be at stake soon.
