A good citizen is an important person in any country. He actively participates in all the good work of the country, obeys the law and contributes greatly to the welfare of the country. The aforementioned characteristics of a good citizen are responsibility, respect, honesty, kindness, law-abiding, participation, tolerance, consciousness, etc. Actually, a good citizen is a great asset to a country. He obeys the laws and regulations of the country, state, and community. He casts his vote in local and national elections. He pays taxes regularly. He helps the poor in danger. He participates in voluntary work. He respects others and behaves well with everyone. He loves his country more than his own life. Besides, a good citizen plays an important role in protecting the environment. He is conscious of the current affairs and problems of the country. He participates in the public meeting. In one word, a good citizen always wishes for the welfare of the country and works for the betterment of the country as a whole. So, we all should acquire the qualities of a good citizen and become a good citizen.
