Dear Sir,
With due respect and humble submission we beg to state that we are the inhabitants of Batikhali under Paikgacha upazila. We are suffering from a serious anti-social activity problem in our village. Some young boys in our village have made our lives miserable. Especially, they tease the school and college-going girls every day. Because of their fear, the guardians are not able to send their daughters to schools and colleges. No woman can also go out for them. Though people forbid them, they don't pay heed to them. They misbehave with shopkeepers and passersby. They don't pay money by taking goods from shopkeepers. They become more violent at night than in the day. During this time, they gather at the turning points of the roads and take alcohol, gaja, phencidil, soporific drugs, and heroin. Late at night, they hang out by the side of the empty road. When any passerby comes through that road, they take away everything they have. Even they snatch motorcycles from passersby. In a word, our lives have become miserable due to their oppression. So, we draw your kind attention to take strict action against their anti-social activities.
We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to take strong steps against anti-social activities in our locality and oblige thereby.

যথাযথ শ্রদ্ধা ও বিনয়ের সাথে জানাচ্ছি যে আমরা পাইকগাছা উপজেলার বাটিখালীর বাসিন্দা। আমরা আমাদের গ্রামে মারাত্নক অসামাজিক কার্যকলাপ সমস্যায় ভুগছি। আমাদের গ্রামের কিছু যুবক আমাদের জীবনকে দুর্বিষহ করে তুলেছে।বিশেষ করে তারা প্রতিদিন স্কুল-কলেজগামী মেয়েদের উত্যক্ত করে। তাদের ভয়ে অভিভাবকরা তাদের মেয়েদের স্কুল-কলেজে পাঠাতে পারছেন না। তাদের জন্য কোনো নারীও বাইরে যেতে পারে না। মানুষ তাদের নিষেধ করলেও তারা তাদের কথায় কর্ণপাত করে না। তারা দোকানদার ও পথচারীদের সঙ্গে দুর্ব্যবহার করে। তারা দোকানদারদের নিকট থেকে পণ্য নিয়ে টাকা দেয় না। তারা দিনের চেয়ে রাতে বেশি হিংস্র হয়ে ওঠে। এ সময় তারা রাস্তার মোড়ে জড়ো হয়ে মদ, গাজা, ফেনসিডিল, সোপোরিফিক মাদক ও হেরোইন সেবন করে। গভীর রাতে তারা ফাঁকা রাস্তার পাশে আড্ডা দেয়। ঐ রাস্তা দিয়ে কোনো পথচারী এলে তাদের যা আছে সব তারা কেড়ে নেয়। এমনকি পথচারীদের নিকট থেকে মোটরসাইকেল ছিনিয়ে নেয়। এক কথায়, তাদের অত্যাচারে আমাদের জীবন দুর্বিষহ হয়ে উঠেছে। তাই তাদের অসামাজিক কার্যকলাপের বিরুদ্ধে কঠোর ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার জন্য আমরা আপনার সদয় দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করছি।
অতএব, আমরা প্রার্থনা করি এবং আশা করি আপনি আমাদের এলাকায় অসামাজিক কার্যকলাপের বিরুদ্ধে জোরালো পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণের জন্য যথেষ্ট সদয় হয়ে আমাদের বাধিত করবেন।
