Once upon a time, there lived an ant and a dove in a forest. They used to spend their days very happily in the forest. Although they lived in the same forest, they didn't know each other. One day the ant became very thirsty. He started looking for water in different places in the forest to drink water. There was a river beside that forest. At last, the ant came to the river and tried to drink water. Suddenly a strong wind blew and threw the ant into the water and carried it away. However, the ant was about to die. A dove saw the sufferings of the ant sitting on a branch of a tree. It felt sorry for the ants and wanted to save the ant. And for this, it dropped a leaf of the tree into the water. The ant climbed onto the leaf with great difficulty. Then the dove flew up and picked up the leaf from the water and threw it on the ground. It saved the ant's life. After this incident friendship developed between the ant and the dove. Consequently, they became good friends. After some days, a hunter came into the forest and saw the dove sitting on the same tree. He aimed at the dove with his bow to kill it. The ant saw everything. Then it had bit the legs of the hunter before he killed the dove. So, the hunter missed the target by its bite. And the dove flew away. Thus the ant repaid the favor of the dove.
