A school library is a part and parcel of a school. It is a room or building where students and teachers study and borrow books. Every school has a library. Our school also has a library. Our school library is on the fourth floor of the academic building of our school. It's very beautiful. There are many bookshelves for storing books, some big tables, and many chairs for students and teachers to sit and read. Each bookshelf is arranged with thematic books. Some bookshelves are arranged with class-based books, some are arranged with books of poets and writers, some are arranged with books on freedom fighters and some are arranged with general knowledge books. Basically, a school library is the storehouse of knowledge and the best place to satisfy the thirst for knowledge. Our library has a librarian and an assistant librarian. They always perform their duties with awareness. They are very efficient. They keep a close eye on the students. Our library has a catalog of all books for reading and borrowing. Students and teachers look at this catalog and collect books from the bookshelves like others. Our library is very wide. Fifty students or teachers can study together here. The students who don't have classes come to the library and start studying without wasting time. And, some students borrow books and leave the library. Those who borrow books from the library are fined if they don't return the books within the specified time. Our library environment is very nice. No one talks or disturbs in the library while reading. Everyone keeps quiet at the time of studies in the library. Indeed, a school library plays an important role in satisfying the thirst for knowledge of students and teachers.
