On hearing this, the rich banker said, "I know you are a very poor man and your income is very low. For this reason, you lead a very miserable life. I will help you to change your lot.” Then the cobbler said, “Sir, my income is low but I am happy with what I earn. I don't want anything more.” The next day, the rich banker came to the cobbler with a bag of money and said, “Look, there is a lot of money in this bag. I have brought all this money for you. Take this money." The cobbler was surprised to see so much money together and refused to take the money. Then the rich banker said, "You can change your lot with this money and this money will help you a lot even in your danger." On hearing this from the banker, the cobbler took the bag of money and thanked him. Then the cobbler reached home with the bag of money. After reaching home, the cobbler faced great trouble with the bag of money. He could not find any suitable place to keep the money safe. However, once he dug a hole in his house and kept the bag of money in the hole. Even after keeping the bag of money in the hole, the cobbler could not be free from tension. He always thought that his bag of money could be stolen at any time. So, he could not sleep even a single moment at night thinking about that money. Not only this, he could not concentrate his mind on his work for that money. Finally, he realized that he had a lot of money but no happiness or peace in his mind. The next day, he took the bag of money and went to the rich banker and said, "Sir, take your bag of money back. This money has taken away the peace of my mind and the sleep of my eyes. So, I don't need this kind of money." Saying this, the cobbler went away keeping the bag of money.

Moral of the story: Money cannot bring happiness. Happiness lies in contentment.
